Apple new operating system Apple has rolled out MacOS Catalina for MacBook. This latest OS update for MacBook can be downloaded and installed from the App Store. Apple was supposed to rollout this update only last month, but it is now being made available after seeding the 10 beta version.
These devices will be replaced from today
This OS, which came for MacBook, will not work on all MacBooks. The company is going to make it available on some selected models from today. These include the 12-inch MacBook, 2012 or later MacBook Air and MacBook Air Pro, 2012 and later Mac Mini, the 2012 and later iMac, the iMac Pro and the 2013 and later Mac Pro.
Separate app for music
Users will have many new experiences with MacOS Catalina. Now users will get separate apps for music, TV and podcasts. This simply means that Apple has now officially shut down iTunes. Along with this, the company’s new gaming service Apple Arcade has also been made part of MacOS Catalina. With Catalina, Apple is making screen time features for the first time on MacBooks. This will allow users to know how much time they are spending on apps. Another special feature of this OS is that it comes with voice control feature.
Browser also changed Apple has also made several changes to the Safari browser with Catalina OS. In the updated Safari Startup page, users will now get their favorite websites as well as the iCloud tab. With this, the Apple browser will now alert the user even if the password is weak.
iOS 13 app entry
The Find My app, seen on iOS 13 and iPad OS 13, will also be available on MacBook OS Catalina. This app helps in finding lost Apple devices. The special feature of this app is that it also works without Wi-Fi connectivity. MacOS as usual is available for free download.
